MICRO-FILTRATION,ULTRA-FILTRATIONAND NANO-FILTRATION SYSTEMS

MICRO FILTRATION SYSTEMS

Micro-fltration removes in the range of approximately 0.1 to 1 micron. Effective in removal of bacteria, focculated materials, TSS and large colloids. However macro-molecules and dissolved solids pass through the MF membrane. Transmembrane pressure are typically 10psi (0.7 Bar).

ULTRA FILTRATION

Ultra- fltration provides separation of particles up to 0.1 micron. All dissolved salts and smaller molecules pass through the membrane. Item rejected by the membrane includes colloids, proteins, microbial contaminants, and large organic molecules. Transmembrane pressure are typically 1 to 7 Bar.

NANO FILTRATION

Nano- fltration refers to a specialty membrane process which rejects particles in the approximate size range of 1 nanometer. Applications include removal of color and total organic carbon (TOC) from surface water, removal of hardness, overall reduction of total dissolved solids (TDS).
